We are off again, exploring South America. Our plan is to visit Colombia, Panama, Galapogs Islands, Peru, Chile, Argentina and eventually return to the UK from Rio in mid-July.

India Plans

Beginning our world tour with an ‘easier’ introduction to India starting with the tropical & (relatively) more relaxed South.  Many people miss this part of India off their itinerary, focussing solely on the Golden Triangle or highlights of Rajasthan in the North, but we are actually panning to spend 2/3rds of our time in India in the South, and even then I don’t expect that we’ll even scratch the surface.

Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep Safari

The next day we were up early because we were going to watch the sun rise over the still active volcano, Mouth Batur (5,633ft). More energetic and intrepid explorers trek up the hill but we decided to do it the easier way, by Jeep safari.
